The crew · Bullard, TX

The same crew, picking up bigger jobs every year.

Lester's Tree Service is a team of climbers, trimmers and cutters who grew up in Tyler and work East Texas trees for a living. They say it themselves: the crew has been together from the start.

Every morning they're up early, outdoors, doing the work other companies tend to pass on. Nothing fancy about it. Show up, look at the tree, say what it needs, then do it.

From one crew to three.

In the owner's words: "Over the past decade, Lester's Tree Service has undergone remarkable growth, transitioning from operating with a single crew to orchestrating the simultaneous efforts of three dynamic crews."

One crewThree crews

For you, three crews means a storm call, a big pine and a fence line can all get worked the same week. The owner says the growth hasn't cost them the close-knit, family feel, and that more than ten years of working together shows on a job site. See the work they take on across all seven services.

Safety first

Tree work is dangerous. They treat it that way.

The owner's letter says it straight: "arboriculture ranks among the most perilous professions in the USA." So the rules come before the saw.

  • Insured, every one of them

Each person on a Lester's crew is insured. The owner's letter calls it a mandatory standard inside the company, set so homeowners hire a team that is legitimate from the first call.

  • Gear on, protocol followed

From a large commercial job to a small yard, the crew works in proper safety gear and follows strict safety protocols. Height and condition of the tree get measured up before anyone clips in.

  • Hard jobs taken on purpose

The owner puts it plainly: they do not take projects lightly or out of desperation for work. Each job gets the weight it deserves, and it gets finished the safe way.

  • Trained for the work

In their words, the crew takes all the National Arborist Association training on safety and professional tree care, and the owner brings 30+ years of hands-on tree work to every quote.

Honest and fair quotes

If the tree can stay, they'll say so.

"If a tree doesn't necessitate removal, you can trust us to be candid about it." That's the owner, writing about quotes. A simple trim can keep the tree healthy and save you a considerable amount of money, and every estimate is free.

"Lester himself was so pleasant and honest."
Kimberly Kelly, 5-star Google review, after a tree snapped onto her barn and the crew came out right away.

The owner says their business runs on word-of-mouth: happy customers send the next call, and the crew pays for referrals.
